Big Blue Weekend brings three days of events to Sonoma State
The Oct. 2-4 celebration folds Family Weekend, Discovery Day and SSU Palooza into one weekend, from Harvest Night to a movie under the stars.

ROHNERT PARK: Sonoma State University is packing three signature events into a single weekend. Big Blue Weekend, set for October 2 through 4, brings together Seawolf Family Weekend, Seawolf Discovery Day and SSU Palooza and Community Day for three days of events, connection and campus spirit.
The university calls it its biggest fall celebration, and the invitation extends beyond campus: students, prospective students, alumni, parents and families, faculty and staff, and community members are all welcome.

What is on
Friday, October 2 opens with men's lacrosse and Harvest Night, an evening of live music by SPF1985 with fall-inspired activities, crafts and local flavors by The Lakes.
Saturday, October 3 is the busiest day. Seawolf Discovery Day welcomes prospective students and families getting to know the campus; the men's lacrosse alumni game brings club sports athletes back to the field; SSU Palooza and Community Day offers music, food trucks, local vendors, games and a beer and wine garden; and the night closes with a big-screen showing of Toy Story 5 under the stars, with attendees encouraged to bring a blanket or chair.
The weekend wraps Sunday, October 4 with Bingo, Bubbles and Brunch, a final morning of prizes and campus spirit.
