Become a community contributor

The Sonoma Post is written for the city of Sonoma, and it belongs to the people who live here. If you live in Sonoma, you can apply to help cover it as a community contributor.

Contributors report what councils, schools, courts, and businesses are doing. They flag the stories we miss, suggest coverage, draft stories, and take photographs of the places they know best.

Contributors are volunteers. There is no pay and there are no quotas: contribute when you can, on the subjects you know. Every application is reviewed by the Sonoma Post; a short exchange by email follows before a first contribution is published.

Everything a contributor submits is reviewed and verified before publication. No story is published without review and verification.
